Remember when Obiden threatened to sic his dogs on all American citizens when they made any transactions of $600 or more (checks, bank transfers, donations, etc)? Well is has begun.

Military people move a lot and many do all their banking online with USAA. This credit union is non-profit and owned by the subscribers (account holders). Hence, most of us continue to bank with them even after retirement.

Now we are being told we must provide a lot of additional personal information to the federal government or we will not be allowed to continue banking with USAA (or other banks). When discussing the issue with USAA, I was told they will start being charged large fines unless they gather the info on these “surveys”. It is none of their business what the “personal net worth” of law abiding citizens is. Many of us would be embarrassed to disclose how little we have been able to save in a lifetime and many others don’t want to brag about how well our investments have done (it could trigger unwanted solicitation from every charity or distant relative or scammer).
If you don’t bank with USAA, just wait. It will soon be coming your way. Bill Pay with all banks will soon require this. Forget about sending some emergency cash to your kids in college unless you invite the government into your wedding bed.
