There used to be facilities to hold these looney toons. They were called asylums. Who decided we no longer needed them anyway.
@FEWI I can't speak to every location where patients were put out on the streets, but in Oregon mental hospitals were closed in retaliation against voters who capped taxes. Rather than reducing staff across the board at state agencies, they cut essential services. Also, legislation passed allowing psychiatric patients to refuse treatment.
@FEWI In CaCaLAnd the asylums were considered judgemental. Can't have that.
So, our streets are littered with bums (no, not homeless, BUMS) who have arguments with trees. Same bum, same tree, every day, year after year.
This is CaCaLAnd compassion.
Of course, in order to "fight homelessness" they get Fed funds that have been shown to not help one single person and serve only as a pot of money to skim -- which is the purpose.

These nuts are confusing and corrupting our innocent children online and we just sit back and tolerate it.I just don't get it.
