Has anyone ever noticed that the majority of people in cities can't see what is happening to them and don't know how it got that way? I don't know if it is a mass hypnosis hysteria or a general laziness of mind. But if you follow their voting patterns you would think they fit Einstein's definition of insanity to a "T."

I think you might have missed a fundamental point. In large blue cities there is little to no correlation between how a citizen voted and who got into office. Machine politics was created in the big cities, and the commie trash have perfected it.
The poor schmuck who voted "X" and sees "Y" prevail simply walks off and mutters "Well, I didn't vote for THAT". Well, no, you didn't. But, haven't you noticed that "THAT" was never on the ballot? Ever?

I did notice that, but didn't want to state the obvious. IMHO, the people who voted against the machine and have both the means and the will to do so have already escaped to the 'burbs or beyond. I really feel bad for the ones who are trapped by circumstance. The fecal matter will soon strike the oscillating air mover and things will get really bad really fast.
It's a case of living in an echo chamber, in an insulated bubble. They don't notice the change much because it's insidious and slow - like the quote about cooking frogs

One would think one notices all the bullet wounds and bullet scars on buildings, all the refuse and the homeless people on the streets, all the drugs pushed to reluctant people, etc. I guess that the ones who noticed left already.
The politics of CITIES, is liberal!!!!! Liberals don't want to see what is happening!!!!! Liberals don't seem to be capable of critical thinking!!!! If you agree with this, then Liberals fit the description of Insane!!!

I object to the use of the word "Liberal" to describe the very anti-liberal leftists. Liberal means respect for the liberty of the individual and not the collective. For too long we have allowed the leftists to co-opt the language. Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin were real liberals and they don't fit the description you gave. Instead, let's call them Nazis, which fits better.

If the institutions of mental health treatment were not eliminated in the '70s the desire of the insane to live in a collective society would be satisfied. Alas, they were thrown out on the streets.
