But, nearly an entire generation was raised to believe that self-esteem was real and the way to achieve it was to scream: look at me, Look At Me!, LOOK AT ME!!!!!!
Not the present 18-yr olds, the 30somethings.
Hopefully, the ones who actually practice this crappola will not have kids. But, then again, mebbe not. Kids do rebel at the first chance. Buuuut, we'd all probably end up with a batch of control freaks -- like the ones in charge.
