The Flu virus and long term illness.

While humans have high fidelity gene copying it's not perfect. The pureblood concept is misleading. Lots of errors slip by. I'm not arguing that the mRNA vaccines are not dangerous but a little less hyperbolic verbiage would be nice.

The sin of pride is very much at the heart of what ills society. The author of this article pins it on foolishness but the foolishness has it's roots in pride.

@wolfhnd I looked into mRNA tech early on. It seemed promising and had good theory but ended up failing from the same issues during all it's animal testing phases. Same failures for decades (between the 60's - 90's), before it was abandoned. Easily researchable in the early days of covid.
The covid vaccines skipped animal testing. Big red flag. It's like they already knew what was going to happen and didn't want the results out.
First Pfizer test in Africa - the results were another big red flag. So many women had menstrual problems, still births, miscarriages etc, that they ditched women from the test altogether.
There are a ton more of red flags I could list, enough to make it look like a May Day parade.
I get that most people didn't do their research because they trusted the media and government institutions. I get that even though a lot of people didn't want to get the jab, they did so to keep their jobs to support their families. I have no problem with those. I have friends and family that fall into that category.
My issues are with the psychotic, paranoid, screeching Karens who actively sought to segregate vaxxed and non-vaxxed and turn them against each other. And the one's who sought to push the vaxx on everyone (especially in the medical community, ignoring the fact they've always pushed 'informed consent' and 'freedom of choice' ).
While the original post might sound a bit hyperbolic (I don't see purebloods as being heroes, just people who stood up for their convictions despite the coercive pressure and public hate towards us), don't forget how much more hyperbolic the people against us were, and in a much larger scale. And now everything we tried to warn people against is coming true, but we won't get (or expect) an apology. No, some people are even doubling down and going deeper into denial, blaming us for their adverse reactions or trying to pass it off as 'climate change' or other such nonsense. It's to them that I say enjoy your side effects. To the ones who have either had enough or have woken up, I feel some sympathy towards them.

The question was always if the virus was bad enough to take the risks inherent in the vaccines. That seems to be tied to comorbidities and other factors.

I generally agree with you but I'm more worried about future pandemics perhaps.

I understand your point but the process of making traditional vaccines is
not practical for an engineered novel virus. In theory mRNA vaccines can be manufactured as soon as the new virus is detected. Perhaps even in Mobile labs at the source. I wouldn't give up on them altogether.

That said mRNA vaccines were developed for fighting terminal disease not something like the Sars2 virus with low fatality rates. What made them acceptable was a shift in perspective over the last decade where the system not the patient became the primary concern of the medical industry. I originally agreed with that perspective but saving the medical system from being overran became what is the easiest way to remain profitable. Therapeutics and screening for co morbidities were not very profitable and a panicked public not a good candidate for appropriate risk management. Greed and fear make for an ugly environment for rational policy.

What was criminal was not developing therapeutics along with the vaccines in the initial phase of the response. Of course in reality the vaccines are only vaccines in a technical sense not by traditional understanding of vaccines but again a fearful public would have rejected them if they had been properly labeled as therapeutics using a vaccine concept. By the time most of the medical community understood they were not vaccines it was too late to change the narrative. The corporate system was too exposed to liability and reputation damage to alter the narrative. Any system that relies on experts will indiscriminately and regardless of consequences lie to protect its reputation. It will destroy anyone it sees as a threat to that reputation because that is what they are selling, expertise. It took legislation to force the medical system to be transparent about risks. The pandemic was an excuse to ignore legislation and hide risks for fear of losing control over the narrative. The pandemic was a return to the way they had always thought it should be where the experts had complete control over patients. You are never suppose to question the experts especially in a technocracy.

One thing is clear, the general population is too poorly educated and narcissistic for a system that allows for patients to be in control of their health care. The high cost of medicine and many bad practices such as the over use of CAT scans is due to the publics demand for the "best" treatments. The fear of lawsuits hampers risk management. What people with welfare healthcare will not understand is that the cost of medicine in the US isn't just driven by corporate greed but by demand. Demand is controlled in government systems by wait times and the systems control over the patient. The US has a cost effective private system if you consider services rendered not results. It's easier to be cost effective if you only provide essential services. It's A catch 22, if you give patients control they will drive up costs, if you give the system control services will be over restricted and profits more important than care.

@wolfhnd good points. I haven't given up on vaccine's (I had all mine prior to covid to be able to work in public health care, with the exception of the annual flu shots), but the tweaking and adding of things to traditional vaccines is concerning - consider all the problems Gates caused in Africa and India with his newer versions of the polio and tetnus vaccines.
