My grandparents migrated from Poland just before WWII. So I'm half slavic. I just found out, according to the Coalition of Communities of Color (https://www.coalitioncommunitiescolor.org/), I'm mixed - German and a Person of Color.

I am not mad at all. Just amused.

I'm Polish, tan very dark in summer and use very colourful language in my daily life - but I reject their bullshit trash of a coding/labelling system and don't consider myself a victim of their made up systemic racism delusions (might have been somewhat true up to the 80s, but not since).

One way to defeat this racist, hate-filled BS is for everyone to get a DNA test. To satisfy my own curiosity I did one a year or so ago. Mostly Northern European (England, German, Italian, Spain, Portugal, etc.), but a smattering of bits from probably races brought back to Europe as slaves: SEAsian, Indian, and an area near where the Aztec empire enslaved all nearby tribes (i.e., which is why the conquistadors were welcomed by most tribes). So, I fit into that category made up by this racist CCC group.
Unless you are descended from some nobility that kept careful records of your blood line (and hid those embarrassing bits) WE ARE ALL MUTTS AND ALMOST CERTAINLY ONCE SLAVES AND SLAVERS.
