@AdrianRainbow If I remember correctly, leaders of 2 of the Ukrainian territories now annexed went to Putin and asked for help, around Nov/Dec of 21.They reported to him about the sites and the biolabs and the abuse they were receiving from the new 2014 znazi regime. The people in these areas are Russian, speak Russian and honor Russian culture
The words I remember Putin say during the first negotiations before the war had started was, I will not have missiles on my back porch, not an exact quote but close, and if I'm not mistaken these sites violate some treaty that was signed to end the Cold War. Znazi refused to negotiate.
