You are conflating a private entity with the government. The government is not forcing Peterson to go to a re-education camp or arresting him for his views or anything of the sort. A private entity which issues licenses to practice psychology is putting his license under review for his controversial takes which go against the entity's ethics for practicing psychology. No different than the American Bar Association suspending Rudy Giuliani's license or Bill Clinton's license for unethical behavior. Doesn't your side advocate for revoking licenses from doctors for practicing abortions or gender-affirming surgery? How is that any different?
Your idol Donald Trump wanted football players to be fired for "wrong-think". Did you think that was a problem?
I also have to laugh at your assertion that Peterson is "the most influential observer of our current cultural crises". He is a mentally-ill grifter who posts videos of himself crying because fat women are seen in public, gay people aren't in jail, and women aren't forced brood-mares.
