The reason lefty loons hate conservatives using woke as an adjective is the backlash against woke. The left is poisoning society with political correctness, with a poison that is worse than kryptonite because it almost killed Superman. Making him gay and an illegal alien crippled the comic because readers want a hero, not a propagandist.
That is changing.

It looks like the leftist characterizations anything and everything from Iconic Statues of American heroes to fictional avatars of "Truth, Justice and The American Way" (Superman) are more or less the equivalent of trampling upon the American Flag itself.
Its almost as though someone with a lot of money, political power and influence so hates America that literally every thing that could possibly symbolize American Pride, prosperity and inspire pride in its people must be destroyed. Who hates America that much? Soros? Obama? the European Union? all Socialists and Communists? I think so but to what end? What is their collective endgame? Same old motivations that have always existed I would say. More than the acquisition of political power and earthly wealth I suggest there is also the fame and notoriety of it all. To become known in lore - in history as being the "one who killed the giant." In order for that to work the Giant must first be characterized as evil, bad, a danger and a threat to everyone within its reach. The violent destruction - the death of the Giant must be justified - rationalized as having had absolutely evil and having no redeeming qualities.
