I had a new experience today. On Quora I had a post deleted. All I did was post a link to a scientific paper that showed masks were ineffective at stopping the spread of viruses. Even surgical masks don't stop viruses. They are only meant to stop bacteria. Other post that claimed the government had lied about Masks and that the mandates concerning masks were based on nefarious intent were still there. Are you not allow to post links on Quora without long explanations? What's really weird is people with scientific credentials were still claiming that Masks were effective. Why does that happen?

I really hate clown world.

I ran into the same issue with a couple of websites that I'd regularly visited, one is Nextdoor and the other I've forgotten. In both cases, back in 2020, I submitted links to studies funded by WHO and CDC that showed that for a respiratory virus masks are worthless. In both cases I was barred and then told that in the opinion of the authorities (i.e., WHO and CDC) I was spreading misinformation.
So, I replied that since they have no idea how science works and they are simply censoring in my opinion they are $%@#^%()$#)-wits and I am not coming back.
Nextdoor came back a couple of months ago and invited me to re-join. I checked their website guidelines and they refuse to allow anyone to disagree with CDC guidance. So, I reiterated my earlier comment and walked away.
You are under no obligation to try and convince those too stupid to understand or more interested in bullying you than discuss. Just walk away.

Quora was co-opted as was all western social media, Twitter, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Microsoft LinkedIn, Alphabet (YouTube and Google Products), Pinterest, Reditt and maybe I mist some. But pretty much all of them including Quora. The Twitter files we got about FBI having meetings on regular basis with Twitter staff on who to censor and what to promote, you can assume that is the case for all Social media. Especially around topics such as Covid, Mask and Jab mandates, Election fraud, trans religion, or Ukraine stuff.

Because they are gate keepers supporting the current thing. If they did not, probably their so called credentials would be put in jeopardy. Its like blue check mark on Twitter. Its a badge you belong to the cools kids club that supports the current thing and regime protects you for it and gives you perks. Any doctors or scientists who were against the prevailing narrative were blocked, censored off the platforms or in some cases their medical license was threatened to be taken away, and in some cases they were fired.

Posting counter narrative info, no matter how obviously truthful or factual was not allowed. That's why I post here myself, since I really don't want to worry about that stuff and self censor.
