Capitalist individual exceptionalism is rewarded; while sneered at by socialism. Just the other day, I received a comment that included the statement that “production” was capitalism’s strength completely omitting the creativity encouraged by the free market aspect of capitalism.

Contrary to the socialist view of capitalism it doesn’t include a visual of the little monopoly man of the the board game. Monopolies are impossible, within a free market without government intervention. And yet socialism continues propagating this negative visualization of the little man of the monopoly board game in their anti-capitalism propaganda.

At-any-rate, at least one of the differences between (free market) capitalism and socialism it that the former display of exceptionalism is rewarded while discourage by the later. Perhaps that’s why the word ‘exceptionalism’ seems to upset some people so much?

Genuine free market capitalism, harsh as it might seem, is not given to safe spaces and safety nets for the weak self-pitying among us. Those aspects of our American life are all socialist transplants.

In the real world there’s no safe spaces for the prey to escape the their predators – such things are all artificial and being provided at the expense of men. The prey and their predators are a natural way of life that socialism portends to obfuscate, but it’s just that, a promise.

Just like there’s no such thing as a free lunch, there’s also no such thing as a safe space for the weak of heart – regardless of the socialist promises.

PS1. It’s not troglodyte predatory men that are enemies of the meek, it’s the socialists who’ll promise you anything all-the-while they’re stealing your very life from you.

PS2. Another basic difference between ‘socialism’ and ‘capitalism’ is ‘forced altruism’ as opposed to ‘voluntary altruism’ accordingly. These are not to be confused as socialists would like. Christian altruism is voluntary as opposed to the forced altruism of socialism. When John F Kennedy admonished Americans to ask what they could do for their country not what their country can do for them it was clearly voluntary – was it not? The socialist way is to deduct from your paycheck and redistribute your money, to whoever they wish to influence at the moment, which is just as clearly forced altruism – is it not? So when you hear socialists confuse and/or conflate the two forms of altruism don’t be tricked by their sophistry! Socialism is theft because it’s not a voluntary redistribution of your property.
