This is probably not the best place to bring out this point – as many other topics are available for consideration.

Feminism recognizes that women, in general, are child-like adult females. I’d submit that this observation can be validated by the new feminist film just released titled “Barbie.” And it sounds like it’s going to be a box-office hit going by the receipts so far. A hit because it’s deceptively being marketed as a nostalgic excursion down memory lane to mother’s childhood to a fantasy called Barbie Land. As I understand it, mother and daughter are well in their theater seats before the feminist propaganda intrudes on their mother daughter escapism. I mean it’s rather a bait and switch pretty much like everything else that’s feminist.

This post wasn’t started with critiquing “Barbie” in mind, which is a feminist movie that was intended to present a fantasy land bent on hatred of men.

PS. I’d be willing to bet that men created the AI (Artificial Intelligence) that’s threatening all manner of employment simply because someone hung a dollar on it. So when Pearl said that men will find a way to accomplish anything a dollar is hung on – she was right.

Most likely females have experienced more Neoteny than males because of sexual selection. Sexual selection favored faster maturation in females than males. Selection for males didn't change that much because physical strength would remain a selection factor. Females are still selected on signs of fertility associated with youth. It's a recipe for runaway sexual dimorphism. Neoteny doesn't just affect physical characteristics but behavior as well. For example domestication leads to less overt aggression while the underlying instincts stay intact. For both sexes intelligence would remain a selection factor accounting for the small difference in male and female intelligence. That said, female intelligence is concentrated around the norm. Male intelligence is more varied, most likely due to both the expendability of males and higher mutation rates. Biologically the base is xx chromosomes while xy is an induced condition.

The above is all well understood but what isn't as well understood is how civilization and group selection has affected human evolution. In part because group selection is a taboo topic. For the same reason that differences between the sexes are a taboo topic. They are seen as a threat to the idea that "all men (and women) are created equal". History tells us that identifiable groups will in fact not be treated equally. Many of our current problems exist because of the failure to achieve our ideals. Sins of our fathers you could say still affect us all.

I think we can all agree that biology should not be the basis for unequal treatment. We should be able to also agree that we want a meritocracy. The problem is there is no easy way to define merit. It is closely tied to values and values vary widely by individual. When looking at groups, males and females will have different values. By extension different ideas of merit. Agreeing on a set of values would go a long way to solving the conflicts between males and females.
