And this happened in NYC... This on top of Philadelphia, Baltimore, Portland, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Detroit, Newark, Seattle...all in the news lately for some reprehensible failure or corruption or decay... I can't get inside the mind of any sane being who thinks living in a massive city and condensed in with millions of other insane people is a life worth living.
What the steel I-beam made possible the smart phone made optional. I pick space. Give me my elbow room. That's what the American essence is.

I lived in the Seattle area from the early 1960's through the late 1990's. the last 25 plus years I was a LEO. When I retired, it took me THREE months to get out of there. I now live in South Dakota. A good plan 20 years ago.
Lately, the last year, I have talked to a lot people moving here from both coasts. They claim to be CONSERVATIVES.
After a short conversation with these people it becomes obvious that they may be considered Conservative where they come from, but they are still considered Liberal here. Think about that!
