Diwali is a HINDU festival, not an Islamic festival. It is a festival of lights to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.
If those protesters (they look like Muslims) in the video are taking the advantage of this innocent Hindu custom for their political agenda, they couldn't be more wrong.
Meanwhile, I find Katie Hopkins' narrative misleading by not clarifying that Diwali is a Hindu festival. I dare say it looks like she is also taking the advantage of this innocent Hindu custom for attacking radical Islamic movements.
I see very little fairness coming from either side, I'm afraid...

Much to the chagrin of muslims worldwide, the Indian government dared to limit discrimination against women and minorities in Muslim majority Kashmir. It’s interesting to note that muslims were once a minority in Kashmir...
I see - so the muslims are more or less saying they want to keep on beating and stoning and torturing their women and the Indian gov't is making a tiny effort to step out of the dark ages and into the 21st century? Next think you know those damn Indians will let their women go to school and to vote ...then all hell will break lose won't it. Ha! In all seriousness - Islam should be wiped out completely if at all possible...which it isn't and it won't but it's a worthy fantasy to me.
@iThink, @WorldSigh And was amazed to read Indian parliment passed a women and childrens protections bill, that in the case of child sex abuse has penalties up to the death penalty, maybe its the same one you reference? Although same report says such cases have increased 500%, so they are not sure what it will do, if anything...but its something, at least it makes a statement the West seems incapable of making.
the politicians who pander to your pro-abortion, SJW, anti-White, anti-White male, anti-Capitalism, pro-socialism demands are the very same politicians who are selling out your culture to "multi-culturalism and the Islamacists"
So keep voting for those politicians if you must - good luck w/that.
