According to the Washington Post (gossip, also called the wrap up, a way to give smears legitamacy), “Conservatives close to Trump and numerous administration officials(No names or numbers given) have been circulating an article by Richard A. Epstein of the Hoover Institution, titled ‘Coronavirus Perspective,’ which plays down the extent of the spread and the threat.”
Epstien is a Legal wonk, once found out to be lacking in economics or epidemology he would be shown the door by everyone, this is a pointless hit piece and would be ignored by most.

He's one of the most influential people in the history of the conservative and libertarian movements. Can we show the door to his entire body of work, please?
No he isn't. Ive never heard of him. He is at best a legal expert in jurisprudence. Why junk someones work just because they make one fuck up?

@CookieMonster The fallacious circle of libertarian logic: Hayek misapplies science (Darwin) to economics -> Epstein misapplies economics (Hayek) to science (coronavirus spread).
There is no such thing as Darwinian Economics. As a Reader of Hayek, his entire works he never references biology, but individual behaviour. I had to look up Darwinian Economics, I don't know anyone who beleives this.
As this darwinian economics seems to reference, competition Growth and structual change, these concepts predate Darwin back to Adam Smith and earlier, they have at its root individual choice, as Does Hayek.
The closest comparison would be evolutionary psycology and that is far removed form economics.
Its a made up fake concept followed by no one.
Ive got an MA in Economics and it doesn't exist, either in name or application.
Behavioural Economics, studies how individuals behave in Market and trade situations, it does not pre suppose nature or nurture as that not the focus of economics.
