A democratic government, in times of war, which this is, must act for the good of everyone, including those who may think the government is trampling over their rights.

What concerns me, more than the Wuhan Flu, is what comes after this "time of war"?
Those in charge are generally reluctant to surrender "emergency" powers once they have found justification for granting it to themselves. In Canada, the "temporary" income tax imposed during WWI was never rescinded as promised. In Toronto, Ontario, the "temporary" surveillance cameras installed for the 2010, G-20 Summit are still in place. They were never removed as promised. In the USA, air passengers are still subjected to X-ray booths, wand searches, and worse. The terror level after 911 never seemed to return to non-emergency levels. Following the 2015 terrorist attacks in France, a state of emergency was declared for a "short time". This state of emergency was extended six times. After two years it was replaced with anti terror laws which give the French government many of the same "emergency" powers in perpetuity...
