The boy who was stabbed in the neck outside a school in Kortedala on Monday passed away on Wednesday. The boy was only twelve years old. The suspected perpetrator is also a minor.
- I cannot recall that I have ever been involved in a case where both the suspect and the target owner were so young, says the prosecutor.
The boy who was stabbed in the neck in a parking lot outside a school in Kortedala has now died from his injuries. Both the dead and the suspected perpetrator are younger than 15 and the crime classification has now changed from attempted murder to murder.
According to several independent police sources and the district director in Kortedala, the murdered boy was only twelve years old. However, the prosecutor does not want to comment.
- I neither confirm nor deny that type of information, we cannot say more than that we conduct the murder investigation at full speed and with full force, says Mats Ihlbom, chamber prosecutor."
