Statistical analysis is extremely complex and the way to elucidate facts from statistical information is to take a totally objective position from the outset. There could be any number of reasons for a disproportionate number of 'black' people being either exposed to or dieing from COVID19. I notice that your first reaction is to take the ideologically focused 'white people advantaged, black people disadvantaged' position as a given undisputed fact. This is not scientific methodology, but rather ideologically motivated methodology. Your decidedly ideological motivation is clearly shown by your completely different reaction to the fact that men seem to be disproportionately affected by COVID19 relative to woman. There are many hypothetical social reasons for this male-female disproportionately. Could it be that men are more concerned with their families health than their own? That more men are homeless, alcoholics, drug addicted? That men simply have shorter life spans and therefore closer to the end of their life? You didn't consider any of these possibilities in the way you jumped automatically to the likely social reasons for the racial disproportionately. Why the difference? In my opinion the reasons for your different reactions is based in the fact that the ideology of the identitarian left is to see the world from a victim-perpetrator lense. Men are perpetrators and woman are victims whereas black people are victims and white people are perpetrators, therefore your ideological obsession completely clouded and motivated your completely different reactions to the two very similar comparisons.

Here's the thing as I see it . If you practice social distancing , stay in your home, wash your hands and keep your hand away from your face you greatly minimize the chance of getting it no matter what race you are . Now what does that tell you ?

I know that black people are more likely to be poor and working class. Poor and working class people are more likely to be essential workers (i.e. they can't work from home), laid off, or furloughed, have poor or no health insurance, and live in unsafe housing and communities.
For grocery store workers with a pre-existing health problem, for example, their job is basically a kill zone right now.
The point I was trying to make is that this has nothing to do with race . Assuming what you say is true , which I have no reason to doubt , It is a case of economics not race .

Basic problem with the validity of the entire analysis is assuming anyone who is not 100% white is ipso facto black. COVID19 seems to be disproportionately affecting men compared to woman for biological reasons but no one seems to care. Stop trying to turn a strictly biological phenomena into a ideologically obsessed socially constructed phenomena.

Do we have to cover our eyes too when we go to the grocery store, take a delivery, take public transportation, our even read the numbers now, in order to satisfy Gary's color blind sensibilities?
There is definitely a class/race divide in how people are able to respond to this crisis and it is obvious anytime one looks outside.

Bogus as a 3 dollar bill. No data set referenced. And the fact that the CDC does not specify infections by "race" is a good thing. Those who feel there are races among human beings are not influencing the CDC. Now that we have sequenced the human genome, we know beyond doubt that there are no races among homo-sapiens. So smart people have concluded that the excuses for discrimination by race are actually discrimination by culture, and that only fools do that. Some people just can't believe they are not smarter than their neighbor. But they aren't. This article is a good example.
