Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.In 5 years, COVID-19 will be blip on the radar that many barely remember, just like the bird flu and SARS. What may be more important then, now and for decades past is creeping socialism, that may gain a significant leap due to COVID-19, if we allow it.
History will record this era as the point at which either the West succumbed to socialism and the end of Constitutional Republicanism, or that we defeated the threat. It won't be about COVID-19.

I've always agreed with most things that Dennis has to say. In this instance I think that if discipline is needed to fight this deadly virus, then so be it. Of course there's the danger that the Dems may grab power this November and fail to relinquish power afforded them by some draconian rules introduced now. But in reality, how else can we fight this scourge?
