Even if China had "done the right thing" I believe that given the dynamics of human activity and normal / understandably predictable panic response the virus finding its way across the globe was inevitable.
Poking the bear after he already at your picnic lunch is not only a waste of time its foolish. The bear is still dangerous and can do a lot more harm than you think.

Well the easy, and prudent answer, would be to destroy the bear, rather than let it carry on being a danger.
@AdrianRainbow The "bear" in my metaphor represents China - If you think your idea to destroy China is prudent and doable then you're not only not very bright but very reckless too. Give your comment some truly intellectual and objective examination and get back to us on what you come up with.
Or, of course, you could choose a less easily defeated analogy.
