It seems the DNC’s plan (assuming Biden could win), is to assume he’d stay in office just long enough to get his portrait hung. Meanwhile, one of the loser-Biden-opponents (who also gets a portrait), assumes the President‘s role from her VP role. ....That’s a lot of assuming.

@MaskedRiderChris you're probably right, but history is shining in their direction this year. I don't believe the Green Party is in as strong of a position. Perhaps the two should merge.
Joe Biden will NOT be stepping down or deemed unfit until AFTER he is nominated and the VP running mate is selected.
Monday August 17 is opening day of the Democrat National Convention - By Wednesday August 20 we will know who the VP running mate is - Whoever that person is is the person the Dems wanted all along. I'm still thinking it will be Michelle Obama her protestations aside. Sometime AFTER the last day of the DNC convention and well before election day, Tuesday November 3 Joe Biden will "voluntarily and regretfully" step down at which time the VP candidate will become the POTUS candidate.

So, the sexist, racist, misogynist, homophobic Democrat Party voters will nominate a predatory pedophile to represent the Party and be endorsed by Michele Obama who could otherwise retire in style on Martha's Vineyard surrounded by filthy rich white people? Why would she want to return to D.C. with all those ghettos just to tank the economy and then retire in shameful exile?
Heck no. The same faceless power brokers who maneuvered Slo Joe into first place will choose one of their own to face Trump. And Bernie is not one of their own. That's my guess, anyway...
