One has to remember that the BBC was in fact born as a propaganda machine to serve British interests.
During world war two a very clever operation was carried out to make the BBC appear to be the voice of freedom and truth and in a way it was but it was also about persuading neutral countries to side more with the Allies or at least not aid the Axis.
For a long time our schools and universities produced more conservative minded people but as is the way with things, following generations looking to rebel and find their own identities became more socialist as a response, only to be replaced in time by more conservative thinkers and so on and so on.
Right now our media is filled with a post WW2 generation of socialists and so the BBC has a more socialist agenda, however as this becomes more apparent the next generations will rebel by becoming a more conservative one and in time those more conservative thinkers will become the bosses of the BBC and thus the BBC will push a more conservative agenda.
I'm not saying its good or bad but just how it is and how we as humans work.

Similarly here in Canada , where the Taxpayers' Funded CBC promotes their Left Wing Liberal Party Socialist Manure on a daily basis. The prime example of non objective fake journalism spewing their brand of Fake News.

Just like our ABC here in Australia. There is not one conservative presenter in the whole taxpayer funded org!
And some of these presenters are earning eye watering salaries.

Agreed! It's similar to PBS (Public Broadcasting System) in the US. Publicly funded and completely left biased. Many people believe that due to its government support, it has to be nonpartisan. It would be nice to have some influence to how my tax dollars are spent. If it were up to me PBS and Planned Parenthood would be on the top of the list to defund.

CBC and Radio Canada the same... mainstream media....Is that turd that doesn't seem to want to be flushed. Ya know...
