It sometimes is enough to make one feel hopeless. Those who believe in God will tell you that he is busy keeping the wellbeing of the totality in balance. I just have to wonder where the hell the fulcrum is located.

Where the pivot point morally? I realize that it was a rhetorical statement and that trying to answer those is really annoying, but can't help myself. Being nice to evil people is not bad, but it is justified to be rude to them in order for them to self-reflect. People didn't understand bullying when they campaigned against it. There is good bullying and there's bad bullying. Ethical bullying is totally necessary to avoid this from happening. These ideologies can only survive because of the support system those people have in one another. If we wouldn't have been "so nice" by shutting our mouths every single time each one of them said their stupid shit, they would've never had the conviction to keep growing in the wrong path. Adversity is necessary to force us to doubt our own ideologies and basic beliefs. So when a wealthy country is also so careful with their snowflakes that they won't even clap in their presence... well, I guess what did we expect...
But there has never been a greater need for the ‘nice’ people. I do believe in God, and the only things I can control are how much I lean into Him, and how I respond to what’s going on around me, by demonstrating His love to the best of my limited ability. The fulcrum is in each of us.
