Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I was disheartened by the news of his passing last night. Black Panther was one of my favorite super heroes when I was a child. Seeing him played on the big screen so well by Boseman was a treat. I took my son to see the movie when it came out. Regardless of the "controversy" surrounding the film, regardless of how people acted after it's release, my son and I both enjoyed the film very much. There was talk about Disney feminizing the film for it's sequel months ago that pissed me off. I think they were planning to make T'Challa's sister the new Panther, like how they were going to take Thor out, and put in the female Thor. And, his death seems a bit odd, because all wikipedia says is "He died of complications from colon cancer". Just one line.

Sometimes families keep the details about illnesses quiet. I think he was a terrific actor, and his portrayal of BP was very good -- really hitting its stride in the main movie with that name. it's a great loss for popular culture to lose him, and it must be devastating for those close to him.
The MCU creators have really gotten the SJ bug in a bad way; reflecting the direction the source comics have been going for years, and this is very disappointing.
May his memory be a blessing. May he live in light eternal. Comfort to his family and friends.
