Sanctity of the individual is important to liberty precisely because they’re unlike livestock bred for food that run in herds. Communists are herders of socialist livestock. Of which western individualism has no part of. If the herders can’t domesticate free persons for exploitation they will inevitably be compelled to destroy them – such is communism.
One of the very first steps in domestication or destruction of free individualists peoples is to disarm them. It doesn’t matter that Cain slew Able without the need for a firearm when it comes to gun control. A firearm is nothing more than an extension of ones bare hands or a club or a rock. It is the evil within the individual that decides to kill; not what ever weapon that may be used because it’s handy.
Accept that you can’t escape being part of the natures food chain when you seek to control other people. It is an inevitable fact of nature that there will be evil people in this world. I’s beyond your ability to control this. It is a mistake to think that legislated laws are there to control evil rather than to make evil apparent to all.
As for the second amendment to the Constitution of the United states, why does it escape notice that it was/is written as a protection from enemies of the United States both foreign & DOMESTIC? Is the United States not becoming overloaded with DOMESTIC enemies? What do you call Marxists rioting in the streets proclaiming capitalism & America irredeemably racist & sexist. Is this assertion true or are these people DOMESTIC enemies of America?
