The problem is Greed the greed of the rich to get more and the greed of have not's to get what the rich have. This is further complicated by the constant bombardment of advertising that is designed to cause discontent with what you have.

Advertising has not always been the problem. Greed has been around forever, and it is not monetary geed, it is greed for POWER. Money is only a result of having power.
