What is well and good now in this very moment may not be at all in the next moment. A man and wife are in fact two different individuals – both equal ,but never the same. The same dichotomy holds true of any two separate things – even that dichotomy can’t be broken even by all this delusional transgender-ism loosed upon society today by socialism.
{{ I did take note of an error in the definition of ‘dichotomy’ herein below. There is the assumption expressed that two different things representing a ‘dichotomy’ must be in opposition with one another – why would that be true? }}
Some time ago Professor Peterson described proper productive life most affluently as being a walk along a fine line between Chaos and Order. Order being the anticipation(s) of a rational outcome(s) based upon consistent repetition(s). With Chaos being the opposite of that Order.
Marriage is an attempt to contractually impose Order upon Chaos – the Chaotic nature of the Universe – human beings included.
Contractual marriages can only bind the Orderly to the servitude of the Chaotic never bound by any such Orderly Contract. Is that not the way of nature after all?
PS1. A contract requires at least two in full compliance to be continually valid – does it not?
PS2. No-Fault Divorce voided marriage contracts validity for all intent and purpose?
