May be of interest that Leon Trotsky first coined the term 'race' as we know it today. Trying to justify then rising Bolshevism, he described European nations as "culprits for historical inequalities in world" in that manner.
The modern-day term 'political correctness' was first coined in the same essay. Actually, Trotsky favored system of gulags for political opposition more than Stalin did. When all other attempts to rule out competition for throne failed, Vožd gave Trotsky silenced for good.

The origin of the species and the theory of evolution. Before Trotsky referred to other people as races they were called species, this referred to anyone who was not wight, so he needed a new word to describe other wights that were thought to be undesirable.

During the colonial period 1450-1700 most European countries spread around the world and claimed many peoples lands this is now known as exploitation colonialism. This was followed by what was known as settler colonialism with large scale immigration. When the Origin of Species was published in 1859 it spawned the eugenics movement. At this time many of the peoples that had their lands colonized were labeled subhuman and sterilized or where hunted to “rid the land of these animals”. This type of reasoning was taught by liberals and progressives of the day until WW2 when Hitler gave eugenics a bad name. These ideas are still with us to this day in the form of planned parent hood, wight supremacy, prenatal screening and preimplantation genetic profiling. Most of these policies are being put into practices by the UN relief agencies that require sterilization of a set amount of people in order to receive aid. There is also the idea of The Third World’s War that has caused the near elimination of certain peoples that were involved in them, most of which were UN peacekeeping actions.
