Just a reminder. 15 of the 19 hijackers involved in the 9/11 attacks were from Saudi Arabia. Two were from the United Arab Emirates.

And of course bin Laden himself came from wealth. So there is certainly reason to believe 9/11 was known to or approved by the Saudi government, which is also a repressive dictatorship. So your point is well taken. Unfortunately there are other regimes in the Middle East that are worse. And, what we don’t know, to this day, is the degree (if any) to which the Saudi government helped in the aftermath of 9/11. At this point Iran and other bad actors are working to destabilize the region. So is this response the correct one? I suspect it is the best one, among other extremely poor choices. It’s the same way I vote, at nearly every election. Lesser of evils.

@ObiRonMoldy I must be missing something here - what does your father in laws medals have to do with the nationalities of the 9=11 terrorists and what does the nationalities of the 9-11 terrorists have to do with anything regarding current activity in Saudi Arabia.
