Great post! Let me respond thusly:
Elivs is alive - so funny it's ridiculous
Fake moon landings - so ridiculous it's funny - really makes me laugh
No one died at Sandy Hook - so outrageous it makes me angry - really really angry and is the straw that broke the camels back where Alex Jones is concerned - I went from strong dislike of him to hating him because of this one.
12 Bankers/underground bunker? I heard about the Bankers but not their bunker...really? LOL
911 planes were holograms - ummm...so stupid and almost as bad as the Sandy Hook thing.
Jeffery Epstein committed suicide - Riiiight...and Hillary is POTUS in absentia...LOL

Apparently I was too subtle. Or, I’m not as funny as I think I am.
The one that says the term "conspiracy theory" was propaganda invented to discredit anything that does not fit the official narrative...
This so that ridicule and ad hominem attacks can follow their typical "monkey see, monkey do" pattern. After all, everyone likes to feel superior and fears the embarrassment of being ridiculed.
The OP is a prime example; start with ridicule and insert Strawman. Why not start with "Epstein did not commit suicide"?

The terminology "conspiracy theory" means exactly what it means/implies.
"Conspiracy" means a group of at least 2 people "conspired" to do something - usually an implied wrong doing or criminal act. "Theory" means there is no evidence or proof that said "Conspiracy" ever existed in the first place.
I believe this terminology is quite fitting for folks who go on about things like "911 was an inside job" or "Elvis is still alive"...etc...
Sometimes though folks do conflate "conspiracy theory" with "urban legend"...LOL
Thanks for the definition and your opinion. There is such a thing as the petro-dollar and allot of wars have been started via false flag operations. Annnnd, Epstein still didn't commit suicide.
