They have a particular hatred for democracies and fond admiration for tyrannies but show a notable reluctance to abandon the privileges and protections of living in a free country to go and live under one of the tyrannies they so love and admire.

Looking back at the same crowd at the time of WW2, it is well recorded that the intelligencia took a smug sliver of glee when England was on the back foot in as much as their leftist philosophy was being shown as being superior to the very democratic state that allowed them to freely voice their antiestablishment ravings, bearing in mind that the word Nazi was abbreviated from National & Socialist party
