It's both. Valid, in that your kid could get shot by a real gun, by any number of official and unofficial idiots and anti-gun lobbying groups whipping up some fear. It's not like cowboys and indians are politically correct anymore, so what would be the point of these, maybe on a gun range for target practice in a self defense scenario?

@Tdonald it's all I could come up with. We also didn't have the mass gun crimes (I don't think) that we have now. But in the event that we have to protect our homeland from the world gone crazy, might not be such a bad idea. Am thinking of South Africa and the farm attacks for instance, political correctness gone sideways!
