It would be interesting to know exactly what her degree is in. Who cares if you have a College Degree if it's a degree that isn't easily applicable in today's world.

I've never understood anybody thinking somebody owes them a job. A college degree means nothing if you can't a job with it. Political Science, feminist history, art history are all the types of majors which can get you a lot of debt and no job. Either get a real major like engineering or chemistry or do very well in school and apply your major to jobs which don't need your "expertise ". The job market doesn't have much need for experts in 15th century literature, but if you can write, communicate and are willing to learn, you can get a job.
