IMHO the REAL problem is that the MSM has made itself into a giant loudspeaker for the globalist collectivist, amoral, godless narrative of the left - effectively making them a, figuratively speaking, tiny blowfish capable of making itself look like a giant blue Whale.
The election of Trump in 2016 and now the utterly overwhelming rejection of the leftist narrative in this recent British election tells me something which gives me great comfort.
There are a LOT more of us than there are of THEM.
I believe they (the American Democrats and the British Labor and really all of those who have designs on creating their one world global gov't) got that message too - and they know that WE the PEOPLE now know it and have spoken loudly in rejecting them.
I think the socialist/communist movement is quite quaking in its boots right now. They called themselves "woke" before...well, I'm sure they're paying attention to us now!

Oddly, Canadians narrowly voted to keep a progressive airhead in office for a second term. Hopefully, Americans will be smarter when they vote in 2020.

I agree - the biggest mistake we can make is to assume that Trump is guaranteed to win in 2020...we need to do everything possible (within the limits of the law) to mobilize, encourage, motivate people to vote for him...no doubt the left is already planning ways to steal the election
