I think what you describe is not the Labour Party but what the Labour Party used to represent. The proud working classes still exist but Labour has changed. Since momentum took over Labour have moved very much to the left and Corbyn is merely a symptom of what Labour have become. If there are any ‘moderate’ Labour Party members left this is their opportunity to exert themselves but it won’t be easy. The allegations of anti semitism and links with terrorist organisations were not just aimed at Corbyn and anyone simply blaming these allegations on a right wing media would be burying their head in the sand. Even Labour candidates from this election have admitted that the parties spending plans were extreme and that many potential voters were extremely dubious about their affordability.

Are we seeing the last stand of the lefties?
In the UK the ultra left wing Labour Party aided by the Liberals tried their best to undermine the democratic system and were soundly defeated at the election. In Europe the Liberal bureaucrats are fighting a rearguard action to prevent moderates and the more right leaning taking down their left wing edifice. Is this the left‘s ‘last stand’ in the US where, if they fail they go down?

Hello. The ultra left-wing Labour Party... I would argue that it was Corbynism and Corbyn's lack of leadership that failed a huge number of loyal Labour Party supporters, and not the Labour Party itself. The constant divide within the party since Corbyn became the leader has been dreadful.
I don't know exactly what Americans call "the Left", but in the UK, loyal Labour Party supporters are typically proud working-classes who are honest and hardworking and embrace traditional values such as the importance of marriage, family and community. That way, they're conservative socially, while they may support more socialistic approaches than the Tories in economic terms. That's my understanding of the Labour Party, anyway.
Trump is wrong in stating that Dems are trying to nullify his 2016 win. That's the past. This is nothing more than dirty politics at it's dirtiest. Dems want to cast as much doubt on Trump as possible and distract the public as long as possible in hopes that whichever weak-ass candidate they offer up can have a fighting chance in November.

Trump is right. This is total disrespect for our Constitution and our electoral process. Knowing they will never win another election ever, they are casting aspersions on the voting process as a whole.
Smart uncorrupted Democrats would cooperate with Trump, show good faith, and then take advantage of the nation's wealth to hoodwink future generations into socialism, but they are neither smart nor uncorrupted
