Given the situation and their lack of communication it seems like they were begging to be shot down. Those pilots took a lot of lives for granted, including their own.

The USS Vincennes was in the middle of a skirmish with Iranian gunboats when it saw Iran Air Flight 655 on its radar and confused the Airbus 300 for a fighter jet. After it failed to respond to the Navy's distress signals, the US shot it down with a missile. Everyone on board was killed.
Easy to understand how this happened. When you are at war, your looking to save yourself and your colleagues.
It’s not about sitting around guessing if you are going to blown up - your take the appropriate measures. Pilots who go silent either are fools or sleeping! Nobody is waiting for a death wish - the next move isn’t rocket science and the excuse is it was a mistake.

Yea, its hard to buy into the "Accidental" part. Our crimeinister went as far as to say unintentional downing of the commercial airliner. How do you unintentionally shoot down an airliner that has just taken off?

A fool making excuses for idiots. Trudeau is is an incompetent asshole.
Iran fired on the plane and brought it down minutes after it took off.
They must have taped into civil airline coms to down this plane and they probably figured that Ukraine was not an ally and therefore it was a target.

@Rick-A Absolutly, but now dipshit went ahead and said we and our allies have proof that the plane was down by Iran he will have to provide it. Iran is asking for just that. It is going to be interesting as to how this plays out. I have no doubt in my mind that Iran either did it or has knowledge of who did. Nobody cares what Trudeau thinks because he has earned that. Now, if we turn back the hands of time and Harper had made the comment of having knowledge of this dispicable act there would be a lot more heads of state taking notice.
