It won’t work. I think Never Trump has been seriously misguided from the start, but at least you gotta hand it to them: they genuinely don’t agree with Trump. They’re willing to go down on the sinking ship of their ideas. Go for it.
The trouble with Never Bernie is they all agree with him. They’ve always known their core platform loses at the ballot box. That’s why they’ve always lied about what they stand for. Bernie’s sin is that he’s telling the truth. This is who they are. This is what they stand for. Bernie makes no bones about it: he thinks America is wrong on everything, but Cuba, Venezuala and other such murderous regimes are just dandy. They agree. They just don’t have the balls to be honest.

Trump at least held to several conservative principles, and even won over many NEVER TRUMP! Heads shortly after the election.
DumboCraps should expect NO such capitulation from Bernie... or NEVER BERNIE! Heads.

Oh, I don't think the smarter Bernie activists intend for him to win the nomination. They want him to win most of the delegates, but not enough to sew up the nomination. Then there will be a brokered convention and the super delegates can slip in Crooked Hillary.

I can’t see Bernie or his minions standIng idly by while Hillary dances away with the nomination that he fought for. I could more easily see one of the others throwing in with Bernie for the VP spot, though there is, perhaps, no more overlooked political class than VP candidates who were on the losing ticket.
Your scenario ignores the role Bloomberg might yet play, although if he keeps trying out bad jokes that fall flat, he’ll never shake his “odd kid in the back of the classroom” image.
If Bernie coasts to the nomination, there will be mass defections. If it’s a brokered convention, the bloodshed will exceed Chicago ‘68.
Never Trumps are never pay a living wage if you can help it...end of story....
