I began experiencing the SJW mob around 2006. It's different now with more scale, multitude of venues and the counter SJW arguments are much more refined. What they hated most was reasonable logical arguments that broke their victim narrative. At first they just could not process it as no one ever called them out on their blatantly incoherent victim narrative which usually involved some kind of projection, like finding sexism everywhere. Then the response progressed to aggressive silencing or in some cases dismantling whole communities, a kind of scorched earth tactic.
Then came Brexit, then came Trump. That broke the narrative big time. It's not a small world with no borders run by a distant unaccountable narrowly focused bureaucrat. It's a big diverse word with many different identities.

I realized around a decade ago this ideology that drives the SJW is actually a kind of fundamentalist religion. Using a religious frame makes SJWs easier to understand. SJW power is not based on responsibility but by identifying blasphemy and holding heretics accountable. An SJW enforcement tool is the use of pejorative labels like: sexist, racist, homophobic or islamophobia.

Consider the dooms day dogma of climate change. When reality proves dooms day climate change predictions wrong it actually strengthen their belief more.

SJW ideology is spread by virtuous priest in universities. This religion intends to influence the direction of mankind and grants itself the right to tell lies. The sacred holy lie cannot be questioned. Examples are the campus rape culture, toxic masculinity , the need for more efforts to empower women and constant focus on gay issues.

Some of the most genocidal and destructive violence revolves around unrestrained scapegoating of the competent and productive. Historically we see how this played out in Nazi Germany, Pol Pot's Cambodia, Moa's China, Stalinist Russia or Mugabe's ZANU–PF in Zimbabwe. The end result is a high body count genocide and societal collapse where almost everyone is materially reduced to zero. Actually productivity is a matter of culture. This is shown by how many groups have arrived in various countries far poorer than the existing population and have nevertheless risen above the economic level of those who were there before them.

In America we have managed to create a system where widely diverse groups can live more of less in close proximity and not kill each other. This is a unique anomaly. But we implemented many imperfect solutions that are quite dysfunctional and need correcting.
