I would be delighted if hydroquinine cures Wuhan Coronavirus, however I find it unlikely that a cure for an amoeba disease will cure a viral disease.
Not impossible, just unlikely.
Let’s hope my pessimism is misplaced this time.

It may. There are reasons why Chloroquine plus Zinc might work, however there is no confirmation yet.

My scepticism relates to the fact that Chloroquine is not a widely used therapy for other Coronavirus strains.
Why would it suddenly work for Wuhan Coronavirus when it was not effective against SARS Coronavirus 1?
I have not read up on this and is not an expert of course.
So I may be proven wrong on this one.
@Hanno, Nor am I sufficiently informed on the subject. I am relying on articles I have seen that have made the connection in theory; but I was not sufficiently familiar with the definitions or some of the reactions to draw any rational conclusion. I apologise that I did not retain that information, as I was sure it would resurface if it were proved effective.
