That means, if the moderator does not like what you have to say on any subject covered, they can "FLAG" you!!!
IMHO, that will KILL any further discussion of any topic a moderator dislikes!!!

I'm wondering that myself. There was one regarding the Oil Sands in Alberta that was published in either '08 or '06 that was complete bs. I pointed it out and the person posting admitted to not having read it. The next day it was gone. I could find my reply and saw several others had commented but their replies weren't showing anywhere. What's up with that?

Has censorship arrived on THE IDW, or what???????????????????????
If so, I guess I'll have to find another outlet, and no I am not computer smart enough to start something myself!!!!!!!!!!!
@Serg97 If I understand correctly, the IDW is set up so that you may protect yourself by flagging anyone you feel has crossed a line. That would make your posts and their posts no longer mutually visible.
So that could have happened to other persons who posted as well.
I don't know about you, but I would be very unhappy if someone posted something containing false information, and would first try to seek a correction. Failing that I might flag them.
I have never felt that justified, however I can understand how some might.
@TimTuolomne I see a fair amount of incorrect or false info on the IDW, but I just try to get the author to correct the info!!
True that does not always work, some people actually believe what they are saying whether it is factual or not!!
Either way, I am not going to stop anyone from saying what they believe!!
I have beliefs not everyone agrees with, but I would not want to be "flagged" nor would I "flag" another member for their beliefs!!!
I think that is what free speech is all about!!!
Correction: Once I got to my laptop I checked a second time. There was a note that the post had been deleted by the person posting. I am guessing that once the facts were known, the person decided to delete the post after he read it.
I've seen this reaction often where someone reads the headlines, that are often misleading, and never reads the actual article. That's how rumors and gossip get started. It reminded me to read and follow-up with topics of interest. Not IDW, but the person posting removed the post,
