I'm sure you have already heard the true fact that practically every microbe that has hit the news has a common name, and that the medical name is almost never used. Almost every one is reported by the place of origin. You may feel that is wrong, however regardless of your point of view, that is fact. Not everything is about someone's prejudices. And we are all responsible for our own. We are not responsible to correct anyone else except those convicted in a court of law, and then by appointed officials.

You spread the word "Chinese virus", useful idiots will believe that the disease is all Chinese people's fault, and hatred will spread against the Chinese.
Similarly, you spread the word "white privilege", useful idiots will believe that all white people are privileged and hatred will spread against white people.
Words like these are used as political weapons because they play on people's minds and divide people, and those who choose to use and spread them do know the effects these words carry, advantageous to them.
That isn't all they are missing. They are so imbued in some other universe of logic, that even communicating with them in what sounds like the same language is impossible.
