The top priority of government and public agencies has always been to protect the people. The top priority now is to promote “diversity”, a woke term for affirmative action.
Look at Covid. The biggest concern in the early days wasn’t protecting people, but not offending China. When Trump cut back flights from China, everyone immediately cried “racist”.

My fear is that they are now recruiting police officers on positive discrimination basis in the name of making the force more diversed... imagine a scenario where a white young girl pops in a police station to report a muslim/Asian grooming gang, and the sergeant turns out to be a fellow mosque visitor of the rapists!!
