Can We Please Have The Conversation About Racism And Get It Over With?
DaveO276 comments on Aug 4, 2020:
Unfortunately, no. We cannot have the conversation about race and get it over with so long as there are those who actually want to divide people and gain personal advantage through grievance politics. Racism will never disappear because it's built-in within ourselves. It's the way our brains work. We are pattern-finding machines. If we all wore the same color of shirt every single day, eventually we would be having the Color Wars. It's inevitable. Racism is not the problem, the problem is that younger generations didn't develop the maturity to know how to identify their inner impulses in order to control them as well as to develop introspection. As I always say, without adversity you never find yourself in need of self-doubt. It is very energy consuming and cognitive dissonance is painful, it ain't pretty. Your people live so comfortably, and technology made it so easy for people to have the ability of distracting themselves from any and all possible emotional pain 24/7 by just pulling out their phones, that they couldn't learn how to deal with their inner problems. Then they became adults and voilá. I really liked that thing about those of us who are willing to do something about having a harmonic civic society. There is so much that could be doing with a group of people like that. Sigh. I live in Mexico, and it's just shitheads all around me. I can't stand it anymore.

Any little bit helps. Remember, no solution will come in the form of a miracle. There is no Mass Persuasion Tool that will help solve it. The only way is little by little taking every little victory we can get until we weaken the radicals the more possible. Then it's gonna be much easier to act in the necessary ways.

A1fredo replies on Aug 2, 2020:
@skaarda There is no consequence big enough to affect them that wouldn't affect us all as well. Perhaps personally though it could be done. If i were to strategize or something, there would need to be several simultaneous approaches: 1. Lots of culture-making, as in people speaking out promoting our values in any way possible. Not responding or talking in their terms, but drawing our own path from our own perspective, especially if done in a non-confrontational seemingly unrelated way. Like I don't know, moms making a channel of what's so great about your child, how they learn so much by seeing somebody grow. Or teenagers talking about how it feels super awesome to be very romantic, and how to enjoy the suspense of taking it slow, or doing something very elaborate to woo someone; or some little show where you help somebody, or do stuff for others. You know, instead of showing up to mock them by talking about them. Forgetting about them and show we could enjoy life in our terms without thinking about them. That way we could attract the centrist who aren't that involved. Arguments and debates are done, they do nothing for no one. Forget it. But the left is actually the only ones doing any thinking right now. Pointing out the obvious on how stupid they are is not creating anything new. So coming up with new interesting ideas or theories that distract people from racism, sexism and homophobia would be another great incentive. I'm talking about the silent majority, stepping up, and making channels, blogs, music, any type of content. We don't have a counter culture because we aren't really creating. Well, my point with that was that my actual reply to your comment wouldn't be the only approach. Now, about the causing them adversity, we don't want to cause any big tragedy for anybody. We don't want war and destruction. We always have emotions. I am more than anything in every sense a limbic-system kind of persona, I'm all about feelings. And I tell you: it is okay, perfectly acceptable to hurt each other emotionally in order to help them understand they are out of place. It's one of the last resorts we have before violence. People need to take advantage of the few connections they have on the other side and squeeze every ounce of consideration they can out of them by blackmailing them shamelessly. That's a touchy topic for people who aren't used to dealing with raw emotion, but that is the purpose of it. You ask somebody if they would just hear you out uninterrupted for a few hours, not to leave until we can talk it out. Then pour your naked wounded fearful soul to the other person. You show them your humanity in order for them to feel compelled to do the same in return. That's how it works. As a group, they will burn you alive, but as a person, they ...

@fschmidt Useful idiots. They're everywhere. And in Mexico, that's the majority, that's why they were active there, they were being used. Anyway, Mexico is hopeless, I don't care for it. Just trust me: it's a no go. You would need to make the people grow some balls, have a complete government purge, and start over; before we can be in any position like in the first world. So talking about it is wasting time. Back to civilized nations: I don't think we can expect people to be doing all the "research and development" of emotional strength and ethical theory on their own. A huge mistake, is to undervalue the importance and the skills needed to be successful in that realm. It's almost like expecting somebody to know how a computer works, and the OS, and the networking in order for them to be allowed to use the internet. We rely on the work of our ancestors to be able to live in the way we do. But we underestimate everything related to the soul, because it's so easy to see it all as abstract "stuff" and disregard it as fantasies and illusions. It takes strength to master it just like it takes intelligence to develop some scientific theory. The brain thinks, the heart feels; and strength is the ability that allows you to try different paths and way of doing things just like intelligence does help you think of other ways to go about some issue. It is quantifiable, but in a relative ruler. Meaning, you can tell about yourself, and you could contrast and compare with others who are honest and as long as you are so yourself. But you can't rely on that to come up with any sort of policy or social monitoring. That is the core difference between science and religion. So it's not "useful" for social engineering (for brainwashing, that's not the part of religion I'm talking about--I'm using it in the more "getting to know yourself and work along with your mind, body and soul to be able to maintain a holistic homeostasis" kind of sense of the word.) The term has huge emotional baggage because of its mishandling in the past. We could talk about that, but trying to keep this short. Point being... Damn, I'll have to use another term with lots of baggage in order to make it, so bare with me. Remove the bad connotations of the word "indoctrination" for a second. Try to think of it as pretty much as the regular education system when it used to teach religion too, but being upfront and honest about it teaching subjective topics that people are even encouraged to test, theorize about, and try to reform as needed. But if done upfront and straightforward about the methods, and more importantly, the intentions; that would be a way not to lean all of the burden of the emotional "research and development" of the spiritual skills in order for a society to get along and be ...

I mean, we know that kind of restructuring of humanity from the swinging of the pendulum occurs, but it doesn't occur without it taking lots, and lots, and lots of casualties. The poor are the first ones to go, and me being in the very low end of that spectrum, you gotta understand. And it's not your responsibility. I'm very well aware that I would be just as dismissing of me if I were in your shoes. What am I to do? Sigh, I've come to make peace with the unfairness of birth conditions, but being aware of the very likely impossibility of the future-- I mean, knowing all of this won't help me get out to safety easier or faster (or even make it less impossible.) I really think I could help if I was "in the battlefield" and have lot to offer. I wish that was my motivation because that would be worthwhile and exhilarating. Instead, just being in perpetual flight or fight mode looking how to make enough to survive one more day at a time... Man, it just gets so exhausting. I know this is not your problem. Sorry for ranting. If there is any advice you may have though, would be greatly appreciated. A1fredo replies on Jul 30, 2020:
@KrunoS I can't possibly describe how bad it is. We can't afford to quarantine, yet the government has us under a curfew until 6 p.m. because we die if we don't go out trying to get money. However, most businesses are closed and there is no work. It's common to struggle for food normally, but right now lots and lots of us are hungry. The government is giving itself more and more power. The police are starting to abuse people verbally and even beat them out of nowhere. There is zero accountability and we know it. And even the cartels are working overtime kidnapping and killing people off since they can't get their drugs to the US. We are finding new bodies in dirt weekly. And there is no sign of anything getting better. Quite the contrary. Our government just accepted a loan from China which as you know, does that where they loan to countries they know won't pay them back so they can acquire land and influence within its political system. I have been trying very very hard here to try to motivate people, make plans, do something because it is possible to fix it all. People have lost touch with their inner passion and conviction though. They have become soft from such comfort and don't have the emotional strength to stand up for themselves. I am stressed and hungry. I don't know what's going to happen, but I will take what I can get. And those doctors are it for now, I guess.

A1fredo replies on Jul 30, 2020:
@KrunoS Well, in the end I do believe them. The ego thing is annoying, but ultimately unrelated. They are not regular people tho, at least in the sense they were involved before in some scandal that wouldn't allow them to go back into the Cultural closet. So that speaks to me they have had this same perspective from the beginning. They also all seemed to check out about their credentials. I researched them so I could do the professional standing burn-ins. Also, I posted the papers they were referring to on the site under the video. Other than me not really understanding the relationship between Covid and hiccups, I can't really say that I have an objective reason not to trust them. Intelligent people can act very stupid too, as well as immature and even more prone to being self-absorbed assholes. I would know. So maybe they're all jackasses, but that doesn't mean they are wrong. That's why I have no choice but to trust them. Plus, we know the communists are gaining ground by lying their teeth off, and this is all we got. So as far as I'm concerned, I have no choice but to help promote the doctors. I hope you feel the same way too.

A1fredo replies on Jul 30, 2020:
Honestly? Damn, I appreciate what they were doing, but the execution of it was not the best. Not bad, but not the best. First, let me get off my chest: Breitbart, get a fucking camera man who wasn't born to sprinkle sugar on churros!! Or at least stabilize the thing before printing your logo on the media, God damnit!!! Okay, phew. Feel better. So, I was saying... I mostly believe them, but they were so unprofessional in the way they expressed themselves. Dr. Robert and Dr. Simone were fine, but Dr. Stella was too dramatic, and screwed up simple things that really made me doubt them. But I subtitled the thing, so I researched every aspect. However, regular viewers may not take her so seriously when she can't remember what NIH stands for. Also, egos, egos everywhere. You can tell she daydreamed about the phrase "I came to Washington DC to tell America there is a cure!" I know she did, you can tell. But Dr. Daniel was the worse. I appreciated his political input of "how about we let conservatives decide if they wanna wear masks or not, instead of imposing it" even with his pretending to be a leftist with "we should empower them with the data and then let them research what they are doing in other countries so they can decide". But him promoting his Tweeter account at the end was too grifter and unsavory to me. That's the only thing that crossed the line. I realize we are all human and believe me, I'm the last one to look professional anywhere, but with such important message... it was hard to swallow. But I think they are right, and I appreciate they included the whole "what does defunding the police has to do with health" thing... How about you?

@solopro Fine. I don't know if you've ever gone hungry for any period of time, but all those social norms and ethical and moral values don't apply anymore. I wish I could afford a perspective where I could be sympathetic and agree. But I really seriously don't think you know how priorities shift when your life is on the line. Ever seen a post of mine where I completely humiliate myself? Some of those are results of balancing whether or not to invest in my public persona and appreciation when there may not be any future left for me to capitalize on; so I choose to purge my negative emotions out instead, as that may linger along after your consciousness is no longer receiving stimuli from the body. The world doesn't change, but our perspectives make them different. That's why sympathy is not enough, but empathy seems something forgotten to history by now.... at least to me. Sorry I went into a rant as well...

I am saying that I am looking to help wherever it is I can help to make this end, but I don't see anybody willing to do anything anywhere. You are probably not quite as hungry. But you're probably not quite as religious as you think either; because you would be taking other people's survival into consideration too if you were, not just your own. At least according to the religions with a bible in them. No problem with religion at all. I do have a problem with people who claim to be religious, but they scream louder that they are not with their actions. It is actually their fault religion lost all of its influence in society. If you acted the way you claim you feel, people wouldn't have lost their faith.

It's just like in 2014 in here for us. I'm not sure if I wanna keep trying to motivate people to do stuff as it seems to be for not, but I think there's so much you and everybody else can do. You see, the craziest let themselves live the fantasies their emotions are convincing them that they live in. And so they do all they can as they live in this revolutionary situation. The way I see it, you, us, the other side we don't seem to be willing to let ourselves into the mindset that we are in a war, and that we need to do something. Without the mindset we won't do anything. The left has been doing stupid and damaging things over and over, and they're winning. Why? Because we do nothing. If we were willing to believe it's upon us to defend your nation (and by consequence, mine,) you guys need to be willing to take the part and do something. Every little thing that we do matters since it will be big enough to compete with the other side's efforts. We just need to get involved. Ans there certainly is many, many ways to do so for everybody. I don't expand because I may have lost you already. No matter how much you explain it, they just haven't experienced it and can't grasp the fight or flight response to the very real chance of death by starvation, as that is not a metaphor here. Somehow, when talking about living standards, it somehow seems to immediately become some sort of tournament to see who is worse. Poor people in America would be the Mexican middle class. I was neglected as a child, so American TV shows educated me into being mora a part of your culture than mine I guess heh heh At least women here are mostly not feminazi-levels of crazy. I keep telling guys over there to come over and give them a chance. Most people LOVE seeing gringos here, and hang out with them. So I guess that's a good thing. I hear it's impossible to have relationships there nowadays heh heh Anyway... what was the question? lol
Maybe if I totally identify as an American they may let me in?

Absolutely on about individuals vs. mob rule. I wouldn't use the word THINK for a mob. Just aggression, perceived race injustice, often with little factual content. We've moved away from reason. Mobs will exploit humility.

@2FollowHim I appreciate it and whatever works for you... I feel the need to keep try, as shitty as it is. I can handle the moodiness. Can't handle the hopelessness of feeling I'm not doing anything about it... Thank you very much though
Did you see asshole Bret Weinstein's interview with the repentant journalist who's coming around ...

Why do you call him a nnn asshole? What are your political differences? How do you perceive #unity2020?
A1fredo replies on Jul 18, 2020:
I haven't looked into it. I just couldn't find myself curious enough. At all. I dislike the guy on his own, but being honest, it's his goddamn brother whom I can't stand. I used to like them both. Then I got to know how they really are. Eric's interview with James O"Keefe was the last straw for Eric's stupidity for me to have enough. Actual quote: "When I drink, I become dis-inhibited. When I become dis-inhibited, I say things that self-aggrandize. That I think that make me look big in the moment. My point is, is that a lot of us go drinking in bars. A lot of us say stupid stuff. A lot of us say contradictory stuff. A lot of us puff ourselves up. A lot of us come forward with lies, with truths, all sorts of things. And effectively what you're doing is you're losing those of us who wish to remain sinners and part of this world." This was after hours of referring to the Torah and trying to bully him into not letting us people know what them smug elites do. His ethics makes me sick to my stomach. He actually tells him something like "When I take your work to my friends, I don't wanna have to spend three hours discussing the ethics of James O'Keefe." Fucking WHAT? He is SO GODDAMN STUPID he wants to take humanity out of earth to avoid our self-destruction without realizing HE IS PART OF THE PROBLEM!! I can't stand him anymore. MIND, BODY AND SOUL. I hate MIND people who FAIL MISERABLY to realize there's other parts of ourselves, and that they are worth shit in those. Why would intellectuals give up "power" and "being the best" to people with emotional strength, or great physical abilities. They won't, because they are shitty people. All this happening right now is because of people JUST. LIKE. HIM. He wouldn't be aware at all of what's going on if his brother hadn't been one of the very first victims of the internationalist cult. And sorry I get pissy, but you know from the perspective I have to watch those reprehensible, stupid people shitting money wherever they go. It makes my soul burn to see the unethical getting away with it and being rewarded for it too.
