Some British police officers were seen "taking a knee" with BLM protesters. I think it is wrong that police officers are permitted to do that. It is a political stance. It is a violation of the Oath of Impartiality.
I've also seen US police officers doing the same. Are they also required to swear an oath of impartiality like British police officers?

Luckily, we never had to deal with this issue!!!!!
And we didn't even have a fence between us and THEM!!!!!

Hello Grandpa. I'm glad you came on. British police officers are each required to take an "oath of impartiality", meaning that as public servants and low enforcement officers, they must serve and protect every single citizen "equally in the eyes of the law", i.e., they must not be political biased (at least when they are in their uniforms). Is it the same in America? Are LEOs required to take an oath of impartiality, too?
