Here’s an article with stuff you’ve probably seen elsewhere: the President of the Minneapolis city council defending her vote to defund the police.
But one thing you may not have seen is this response from a self-described redneck. I’m posting it in full, in case you don’t want to read the whole article.

Well, I tell you what—We can do better than that. Let’s just do away with them all together. Let’s do a one-month damn trial period, and let’s let you deal with a bunch of redneck sons of bitches like me.
Cuz I’m gonna tell you something—people like me and my damn crowd—we don’t own tasers and we don’t own rubber bullets and all that pantywaist bullshit. We just have real fking guns that have real fking ammunition.
And let’s just do that one month trial period, and let’s just see how quick it takes for you to want that fking police department to come back into the fkin’ picture.“

I read a couple of other articles as well, and they indicate that Camden made the right decision by defunding its police force. It is also pointed out that "defunding the police" is not necessarily about gutting police department budgets; it is more about addressing systemic problems, such as corruption, the abuse of power, etc., by restructuringing.
Any thought on Camden's case?

Sounds like you do have an opinion Naomi but you are pretending otherwise...tsk, tsk. It is not an American problem either, it's everybody's problem. Restructuring means getting rid of any individual not specifically chosen by these domestic terrorists (Antifa and BLM), who are funded by the Democrats and others like them btw, and the new "police" will make sure everybody tows their line or else. But I suspect you know this already.
Hello vangr. I don't believe that I've come across you before. You make a lot of assumptions about me while YOU DON'T KNOW ME AT ALL. I'm interested in what is happening in other countries, but it doesn't mean I have opinions about it. It is like I have opinions about what is going on in someone else's household - that's arrogant. And don't assume that the problems they have with the police in America are also everyone else's problems. America simply does not represent the rest of the world. Plus, you cannot have an insight into things you don't know well enough.
Read my comment again - CAREFULLY. It is simply a summary of the articles I read. Where does it contain my opinion? If you have any OBJECTIVE opinion on Camden's case, let me know.
And @Header, I'm surprised you agree with vanger. I would've thought you know me well enough by now. 
And @johonlondon, why are you angry about Camden's case? Surely, you know more about it than I read. Tell me. I'm curious, if that's OK.

If it is "everyone's problem", please explain how it is so. Clarifying who "everyone" is would be a good start. Does everyone mean everyone in the world? I'm not good at generalization. I find it useless. I rest my case.
