Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Just recently I saw my religion for what it is. It is not by men of God but men of men. I reject it. I will not and cannot collude with pedophiles and now my eyes have been opened to close them would make this so.

Every "church" is a human institution, and fallible the same way any company, corporation, private golf association, homeowner association or private club. The Catholic church in particular is so large that the statistical probability of a few percent of the population being unidentified sociopathic, means potentially millions of dangerous and unknown pathologicals in the church, as in every other large organization of the same size.
Those opposed to Christianity will misuse that fact of human nature to justify their choice.
Our relationship with God will define our future in eternity, and God will honor every choice, as must we Christians as well. We will surely mourn for them when they realize the enormity of their choice as we pass in different directions in the end times.
@TimTuolomne thank you but this in no way affects my belief in God. I have found him in my garden where I am allowed to exist with all living things and there is no beauty greater than existing and finding true peace in the presence of all that he created. I believe everyone will return to the source good or bad and that is where we find true equality and acceptance. It’s just harsh when you loose your religion
