Am I the only one who is so very tired of people comparing everything they don't like to Hitler and the Nazis? Not only is it overused, but it's lazy. There were other dictators throughout history (Stalin and Pol Pot, for example). Hitler and the Nazis are trigger words, and are a part of the "progressive" script from which they all seem to read.
Also, people can't seem to understand the difference between "Conquerors" and "Dictators". They have Google right at their fingertips. Can't they look stuff up before virtue signaling?

Yes. We should resist name calling. After all, it is not difficult to make a reasoned argument comparing the creeping nativist authoritarianism of Trump, Orban, Modi, Bolsonaro, Salvini, Netanyahu, et al. with that the Nazis.

They don’t look anything up. They don’t have to. As soon as they throw out a term, ie Hitler, Nazi, racist, etc., you’re on defense, and no rational discussion will follow; it’s a way to deflect actual debate and the exchange of ideas.

The funny thing is, as this point in time, being called a Nazi doesn't affect me. I tend to yawn at them...
From a military/weapons/strategy standpoint, the Nazis were damn powerful. If they hadn't turned against Russia, the rest of the world may have been in serious trouble.
