We’re rapidly heading for two new parties and one old one: the Democrats will morph into the American Socialists, who, once they’ve purified their ranks of all heretics, will vanish back into the obscurity they deserve; the Trump Patriots, made up of the Deplorables, and all the Democrats who lost their home in their party; and what’s left of the Republicans, angry, disaffected, resentful, and as obscure as their socialist brethren.
