"Snowflake" is a 2010s derogatory slang term for a person who is overly-emotional, easily offended, and unable to deal with opposing opinions. And "snowflake" describes most liberals/leftists, especially in America, I think. Then, I thought "Hang on, there are many right-wingers who are easily outraged by what liberals/leftists say and do, in which case those right-wingers are also snowflakes, no?" I guess they deserve each other - sometimes.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.There are plenty of legitimate reasons to be outraged sometimes. That, alone, doesn't earn the title of Snowflake IMO.
In the case of Leftist snowflakes ("liberal" is just a misnomer... they're not), the delicacy that some exhibit when they cower in a safe space, rather than confront an idea that challenges their preconceptions, is analogous to that of a snowflake in nature. The anthropomorphic "snowflake" is presumed to be quite impressed with its own unique and aesthetically-impressive composition, and its contribution to the "collective"... the snowstorm or snowbank; from which it derives its inflated sense of worth. But, at the slightest exposure to less-than ideal conditions will immediately simply melt away. It has no physical ability to stand its ground against adversity, and consequently exhibits no "resolve" to do so.

The left snowflakes are not based on or in reality, but on Kombiya fantasy. That is the difference. They are a continuing and all encompassing weakness of the human condition forested by the education and entertainment systems in place for many decades led by liberal weaklings of the same caliber as the victims.
