The essence of leftism is power. Leftists crave more power. Conservatives have the grace to devolve it.
The best way to enforce power redistribution is term limits. Trump proposed term limits for the house and senate. It's also wealth distribution. A term of office pays well. You collected your check, good for you. Now get out of the way and let someone else have it.
